HOW MUCH WILL INSTRUCTION COST?
Horsemanship is a lifetime endeavor.
The more we learn and experience the more artistic we can become in our expression of movement with the horse
and the happier and more willing the horse will be.

Horse ownership is for fun, recreation and personal growth.
Making the right investment to help insure less frustration and more safety will put the joy back into the experience.
That is an invaluable gift.

Spending hard earned dollars on riding lessons,a clinic or camp may sound like a self indulgent luxury.
But, without coaching on a regular basis, the best professional athletes admit their performances begin to deteriorate.
At an amateur level, your investment in riding lessons will create personal joy and yield measurable progress in your
goal to become the best rider and horseman you can be.

Isn't that what you expect?

Comment From Leigh a 5 year student with Sherry: I'd like to add that investing those dollars on riding lessons, clinics, or camps with Sherry regularly has a sneaky, surprise benefit in that you become better in dealing with people too, from casual acquaintances to your most personal relationships.Of course, my horses, mules, & I are absolutely enjoying the progress I'm making in horsemanship with Sherry's guidance and my perseverance.

Prices may be negotiable;
Depending on # of participants, travel expense, arena rental fees, and how many events you have attended, etc.
All prices are subject to change because my expenses vary and sharing knowledge is extremely fulfilling. I help others improve their horsemanship because I love great horse stories and bettered lives. I believe everyone should be able to ride and communicate with even more safety and excellence.

While helping others achieve their dreams, I keep learning as well, and find my dreams coming true. Teaching, studying, writing, practicing my own horsemanship, and trying to figure out marketing in-between travel time round out my days. So I am very busy. If you need my help I'll try to fit you in. I'll help people struggling for free some times, but I've often found if people don't pay, they usually don't value the work.

Sometimes my sharing is free and other times I charge. If I were independently wealthy I would do this for free, because I love it so much.

If you can't afford me, please remember I understand, and if you research the market you will find my prices very competitive. There is plenty more training I would also like to have and can't afford at this time. I am working hard to save for more training and education because I know I will benefit greatly from it. I'm 20 years into my teaching career. I've made money as a teacher, horse trainer, saleswoman, vet assistant, outfitter, hunting or trail guide and just about any other kind of job you can name. I think all that blood, sweat and toil should be rewarded.

Still, I pay attention to the "little guy" and often help out people for nothing. I just don't do it when they appeal to me as a victim upfront. When I see a great need with desire I often get quite generous. So in other words my prices are flexible. Bottom line, cost varies with expenses and travel time. I also offer discounts to repeat students and early bird sign ups for clinics.

Hope to see you soon,
Sherry Jarvis
